With faith as its foundation, a new chapter begins.
Holy Family Parish is the result of two longstanding Catholic communities (Immaculate Conception and Saint David’s parishes) joining together in service to the Arnold community. Following significant damage to existing parish facilities and a broader evaluation of long-term needs, parish leadership recognized an opportunity to establish a permanent church home that honors the parish’s shared history while supporting future generations of worship, ministry, and fellowship.
As the parish looked toward its future and evaluated the needs of its growing congregation. Leadership and community members worked with Chiodini Architects to create a vision for a permanent church home that would serve worship, fellowship, ministry, and community life for decades to come. Working alongside parish leadership, the Archdiocese of St. Louis, and a multidisciplinary consultant team, Chiodini Architects helped guide the project through feasibility studies, master planning, concept development, and implementation.
The new church is envisioned as a visible and lasting centerpiece for the parish that pays homage to the parish’s shared history, while providing an inspiring environment for worship while supporting fellowship, ministry, education, and community engagement. The design draws upon traditional ecclesiastical forms while incorporating modern building systems, improved site infrastructure, and spaces designed to serve parishioners for decades to come.
More than a building project, the new Holy Family Church represents the culmination of months of collaboration, perseverance, and faith. The groundbreaking ceremony marked an important milestone in transforming a shared vision into reality and establishing a new spiritual home for the Arnold community.
